Dermaplaning is a form of manual exfoliation similar to microdermabrasion but without the use of suction or abrasive crystals.

Why we use & what is Derma Glide?

The Derma Glide has been designed, developed and tested by Jenna Unwin of Million Dollar Facial.
Jenna, one of the first dermaplaners in the UK, wanted to create a tool fit for dermaplane professionals.This lightweight and ergonomic tool enables the technician to work optimally and cater to each clients requirements to work around those tricky areas of the nose, lip & chin with ease providing improved comfort for the client

A sterile blade is stroked along the skin at an angle to gently “shave off” dead skin cells from the epidermis. Dermaplaning also temporarily removes the fine vellus hairs on the face, resulting in smooth skin.. As with any type of exfoliation, the removal of dead skin allows skincare products to penetrate deeper & improves makeup application.The procedure includes the use of medical grade skin care products to complement the treatment.
